Client Testimonials

"Thanks for being there every step of the way. It was actually fun!" - Andy Chamberlin

"As I told you when we first met, the most important thing to us was trust. We wanted to find a realtor who would be looking out for our best interests and always available. You met and exceeded this challenge. When it's time to move again, we sincerely hope that we can renew our partnership."
- Diane & Eric Straight

"Overall, Michael was a calming presence during a very hectic and exciting time. We would call him again in a second for buying or selling." - Johanna Gendelman & Jason Albertson

About Me

Coming from a family where fine food, good music and planning faraway adventures was always "on the menu," I'm inspired to enjoy all life has to offer.

So, naturally, I love cooking creative meals for family and friends. I do it just about every night - a satisfying mix of conversation and relaxation. Just take fresh local ingredients, add a pinch of spontaneity, and voilà! It's a memorable evening for everyone.

Music has been a part of my life since my days at Berkeley High, when I skipped orchestra rehearsal to see the Stones' very first show in San Jose. I then promptly traded my upright jazz bass for that Fender electric. The rest is rock ‘n' roll history.

I have had the great fortune to travel to many special places around the world with my family. From Saigon to Seville, from Sicily to Sydney, I’ve delighted in discovering foreign cultures, sights, and of course, food. Latest trip was to India!

In Taormina, Sicily with Carol and Jesse

My other passions include interior design, yoga, hiking, golf, languages, sports, reading, world affairs, movies, gardening and talking with interesting people.
